Fast5 World Series to be broadcast in prime time

Australian sports fans can watch the Fast5 Netball World Series live later this month, with the Nine Network announcing they will be broadcasting the entire two-day tournament on GEM.

Held at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena from October 29-30, the series will feature the top six netballing nations in the world in an action-packed weekend of netball and entertainment.

The broadcast will be hosted by TODAY News Presenter Sylvia Jeffreys, accompanied by an experienced netball commentary panel including former Australian captains Liz Ellis, Sharelle McMahon and Anne Sargeant, Australian Diamonds Laura Geitz and Sharni Layton and netball broadcasters Sue Gaudion and Jenny Woods.

The broadcast will begin at 1.30pm AEDT on Saturday October 29. 9Now will exclusively live stream all the Fast5 games on and the 9Now app.

A Celebrity Fast5 match will be broadcast from 4.45pm to 5.30pm, including television and radio stars as well as some of the best netball talent.

The Fast5 Netball World Series will be the first event broadcast under Netball Australia’s new broadcast agreement with the Nine Network.
